GMRSVP Fraud Squad Video to Inform Older Vermonters about Financial Exploitation and Current Scams

Green Mountain RSVP, a National Service volunteer program sponsored by the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging has be piloting a program called Fraud Squad. Volunteers gave live presentations about fraud, scams, and financial exploitation. Scams change daily and scammers did not let COVID-19 slow them down. We did not want to lose momentum on this initiative so we decided to safely record our presentation to be shared, targeting people age 60 and older. This video presentation is based on The Federal Trade Commission’s “Pass it On” campaign.
