On November 10, 2016, we celebrated Veterans at the Springfield, VT Meal Site. Green Mountain RSVP staffers had the pleasure of serving lunch to Veterans and Seniors from the community alongside the RSVP volunteers. Green Mountain RSVP Coordinator, Corey Mitchell arranged for The Kurn Hattin Childrens Choir to sing, which was so wonderful and enjoyed by all! The sweet voices of the students and the patriotic and fun songs entertained the group, many of them clapping and singing along. When it was all over, I overheard longtime GMRSVP Volunteer Maria Contro say, "Veterans, Seniors, and Children, what is better than that?" Maria, we could not agree more!
