In light of the upcoming Corporation for Community and National Services (CNCS) Senior Corps conference this week in Virginia, President Obama is honoring the service of more than 350,000 Senior Corps volunteers, President Obama sent you a letter commending your “spirit of shared purpose.” He said, “In your dedication, we see the spirit of shared purpose—the understanding that we are all bound to one another—that is at the core of our national character.”
